The CBRC Spring Roundtable will address the skilled labor shortage by enhancing connections between builders and trade schools. The discussion will address:
- Success stories from partnerships with Green Mountain High School Cherry Creek Innovation Campus, DU Construction Management, and BuildStrong Academy
- Making mentorship and internship programs effective for both students and builders
- Funding initiatives for student development and IBS participation
- Strategies for engaging younger generations in construction careers
- Advocacy efforts with the HBA to expand post-education career pathways in residential construction
