PRESS RELEASE: The International Design Collection (IDC) Announces Showrooms in Anticipation of Early 2018 Grand Opening

Located near downtown Denver, The IDC Building will house 10-15 of the Metro area’s top home design showrooms.

DENVER (Nov. 6, 2017) – Opening in early 2018, The IDC Building will be Colorado’s premier destination for design inspiration and resources. The showroom collective, laid out in a modern, open-floor plan, boasts an impressive 60,000 square feet of floor space and will house 10-15 of the Metro area’s top home design showrooms. IDC is located near downtown at 590 Quivas St., with quick access from I-25 and 6th Ave.

“Gone are the days of the traditional design center model with exclusivity only to the trade and doors and walls between every showroom,” Al Castelo, Head Developer of IDC said. “When creating the IDC Building concept, my team and I visited major design centers around the country and discovered the demand for a more experiential retail model. We chose to build a community at IDC, and create an accessible environment that encourages partners, homeowners, and the trade to collaborate.”

The IDC showrooms offer a wide variety of products and services, in a full range of styles from modern to contemporary, to traditional and transitional. Each showroom was hand-selected for their unique product selection and the value they bring to trade professionals and discerning homeowners alike. Below is a preliminary look at a few of the showrooms.

“With several more showrooms on the way, this is an exciting time at IDC,” Castelo continues. “This collection will become one of the most sought after destinations for design in the region and we can’t wait to unveil them to the Colorado community.”
